QR Functionality

When you point the camera on any modern phone or tablet at a QR code, you’ll either be given an option to take some action, or your device will automatically take that action. For example, when you point the camera at the QR code above, you’ll see the option to visit a webpage. Some QR codes can do other things, like download some content or install an app.

When you use a Conqrse-powered QR code, we may collect some information about that interaction via cookies. For example, a Brand could display a Conqrse Powered QR code on a billboard, in an ad on TV, on the Brand’s product, or anywhere else, along with an invitation to scan it to get a coupon, find out more information about a product, or purchase a product (“Brand Destination”). If you scan it, your phone may visit a Conqrse Site (such as conqrse.io, conqrse.co) for a split second while on its way to the Brand Destination. At the Conqrse Site we may collect information, such as the IP address of your device, the time of the scan, information about the browser your device uses and about your device’s operating system. Conqrse may also use cookies and the other information collection technology described below in the Cookie Notice on that Conqrse Site and at the Brand Destination to collect information. If you scan the QR Code using a Conqrse mobile application, Conqrse may also associate your geolocation at that time with your scan.

Choice/Opt-out

Sometimes you have the opportunity to limit the personal information you provide. Conqrse provides you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes. This opt out option shall be available when Conqrse asks for personal information and when the opt out option is applicable.

Registration

In order to use Conqrse software, you must first complete the registration form and create a username and password. During registration you are required to give contact information such as name and email address. Conqrse uses this information to contact you about the services in which you have expressed interest.

Conqrse is the sole owner of the information the software collects.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by making the change on the “USER” area or by emailing Conqrse, or by contacting Conqrse using the information located at the “Contact” page.

Conqrse’s registration form requires users to give Conqrse contact information (such as username and email address). Conqrse uses customer contact information from the registration form to send the user special offers and updates from Conqrse. The customer’s contact information is also used to contact the person when necessary.

Email

Users and Permitted Users may receive periodic email notices that include exclusive special offers and information about sales, promotions, new releases, and other relevant information. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt out by contacting Conqrse at hello@conqrse.com.

Data Transfer

We share your information with third parties as follows:

With Brands and Creators: We share information with Brands and Creators. For example, when we collect information about you in the context of your relationship with (or interaction with) a Brand or Creator, we may share that information with the Brand or Creator. We may also share personal information with Brands or Creators in other situations.

With Vendors: We may share your information with companies that provide services to us, including, without limitation, facilitating some aspects of our Sites or Services such as sending emails and fulfilling customer service requests.

With Affiliates: We may share information with other members of our corporate family for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

With Business Partners: Where we are permitted to do by applicable privacy laws and with your consent if required by law, we may share information with businesses with which we partner to offer you certain products, services, and promotions which may be of interest to you.

With Enterprise Customers: If you sign up for an individual account using an email address containing an email domain controlled by a current or future enterprise customer, we may share certain information about your account status with that enterprise customer.

Legal Proceedings: We share information when we believe disclosure is appropriate due to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or other request from a law enforcement or government agency.

Compliance: We share information when we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing.

Corporate Transactions: We may disclose your information as part of, or to take steps in anticipation of, a sale of all or a portion of our business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, a bankruptcy, or other significant corporate event.

Whenever we transfer your personal information out of the United Kingdom or Europe, we ensure a similar degree of protection by using at least one of the following safeguards: transferring to jurisdictions deemed adequate by the European Commission or UK authorities; using approved model contracts; or any other approved data transfer mechanism. Non-personal Information

Like many applications, Conqrse collects and analyzes standard log file information and Session ID information to analyze usage and improve performance. Session IDs are bits of code on your computer that assist you in navigating the software. Conqrse does not associate personal information with log file information or cookies, except when needed to prevent fraud.

Legal Disclaimer

Conqrse reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when Conqrse believes that disclosure is necessary to protect Conqrse’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on Conqrse. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services and never for any other reason.

Disclosure of California Personal Information During Past 12 Months. We describe the categories of California personal information we have collected, and the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed such information for a business purpose, during the 12 months leading up to the effective date of this Privacy Policy:

Information captured when scanning a powered QR: IP addresses and identifiers; information about the industry and purpose of the QR code; technical device data; and any information concluded from the above.

Other personal information captured during the use of the Conqrse platform: Identifiers such as your name, username, email address, phone number and address; device/technical data; business titles, departments, and other employment related information; and information about your business (purchases, subscriptions, and use of the platform).

The above information may be disclosed to consultants, partners, resellers, affiliates, customers, service providers, contractors or agents who perform functions on our behalf for a business purpose.

Additional information captured by our sites and services but handled directly by payment processors and service providers includes financial information such as payment credit card account numbers.

Data Security

The security of your personal information is important to Conqrse. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on Conqrse registration or order forms, Conqrse encrypts that information using standard internet encryption practices (HTTPS, encryption in transmission and at rest).

Conqrse follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to Conqrse, both during transmission and once Conqrse receives it. Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while Conqrse strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, Conqrse cannot guarantee its absolute security.

In addition, we urge you to use a unique password for our sites and services, keep it in a safe place, and not share it with anyone. It is best practice to sign off your account and close the browser when you have finished using our sites and services.

Retention

In general, we will retain your information in identifiable form only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Information may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for longer than original copies. In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.

Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of Nevada:Under a Nevada privacy law, certain Nevada residents may opt out of the “sale” (as defined in that law) of certain categories of information about them. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not engage in such “sales” of information covered by that law. Qualifying Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of future “sales” by contacting us.

If you are a resident of California:This section applies only to “personal information” about California residents, as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and supplements the information elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. Californians have the right to direct us not to “sell” certain personal information, which you can exercise by emailing privacy@Conqrse.com.

CCPA Information and Deletion Rights: California law may permit you to request that we inform you of the categories of personal information we have collected about you in the last twelve months; provide a copy of certain information we hold; or delete certain information we have about you. Certain information is exempt from such requests under applicable law.

To exercise those rights, please email us at privacy@Conqrse.com. We will take steps to verify your identity before responding. Agents making requests on behalf of a consumer must provide written authorization that satisfies CCPA requirements.

If you are located in Europe or the United Kingdom: You have the right under certain circumstances to request access, correction, or erasure of your personal information; object to or restrict processing; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Marketing

You can unsubscribe from Conqrse marketing emails at any time. If you have established an online account with our Services, you may also be able to log in to that account to access or change your personal information, or to use certain privacy preference settings.

If you do not want us to see or access your device location, you can turn off location sharing on your device or change your device privacy settings. Please note that disabling such features may result in you not being able to access or receive some of the present or future content available in the Services.

If you would like to opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails from Conqrse, please contact privacy@Conqrse.com or follow the instructions in those messages.

Changes in this Privacy Statement

If Conqrse decides to change its privacy policy, Conqrse will post those changes to this privacy statement, on the homepage, and other places where Conqrse deems it appropriate.

Conqrse reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If Conqrse makes material changes to this policy, Conqrse will notify you by email or by means of a pop-up notice the next time you log into the platform.
